Brand optimization is our purpose

POTOO was founded in 2014 to monitor online marketplaces and protect the integrity of brands selling digitally. Online marketplaces are rapidly expanding. With more than 5 million third-party sellers on Amazon and 25 million more on eBay and Walmart, it can be extremely difficult for brands to stay on top of their online presence. Price instability, product inconsistency, unauthorized foreign goods, expired and stolen items, and counterfeits are rampant, and they all harm consumer trust, brand consistency, and a company’s bottom line.

By providing in-depth data collected from its proprietary system, and working tirelessly to fix any problems uncovered, POTOO enables brands to remain in control online. In 2019, it was named one of Inc. 5000’s fastest-growing companies in the United States and Marcum’s Fasted Growing Tech Company in Connecticut. In 2021, it was named a Marcum Tech Top 40 Winner in the overall New Media, Internet & Telecommunications category.

Potoo

po·too | \ pōˈtü \

The potoo (pronounced pah-too) is a bird native to the Amazonian rainforest that is essential to the survival of the ecosystem, but virtually invisible to the naked eye. Like the bird, POTOO works with brands behind the scenes to provide actionable insights for better online positioning.
